Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and PixelPleno LTDA ("uploadtol.ink", "we", "us") governing your use of the uploadtol.ink website and file-transfer service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
uploadtol.ink lets you upload files (up to 100 GB each) and share them as disposable download links that expire on a schedule and/or after a set number of downloads. Recipients need no account. The Service runs on pay-as-you-go prepaid credits with a limited free tier; there is no subscription. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must keep your password and credentials confidential. Notify us immediately at [abuse@uploadtol.ink] if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for actions taken with your credentials until you report them as compromised.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm others, the Service, or its infrastructure. You must not upload, store, share, link to, or use the Service to transmit any content or conduct any activity that:
- is illegal, or facilitates illegal activity, under any law that applies to you or to us;
- infringes intellectual-property rights, trade secrets, privacy, or publicity rights, or that you do not have the right to share;
- contains or distributes malware, viruses, ransomware, exploits, or any code intended to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to systems or data;
- depicts or facilitates child sexual abuse material (CSAM), human trafficking, terrorism, or violent extremism — such material is reported to the appropriate authorities;
- is used for phishing, fraud, scams, spam, or to distribute stolen, leaked, or unlawfully obtained data;
- harasses, threatens, defames, or incites violence or hatred against any person or group;
- attempts to probe, scan, overload, rate-limit-evade, reverse-engineer, or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, or to access accounts, files, or links that are not yours;
- uses the Service as a permanent content-delivery network, public file index, or hosting backend for a separate application, or otherwise abuses the credit, free-tier, or refund mechanics.
We do not pre-screen or routinely monitor content, but we may review, remove, or disable access to any file or link, and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion and without notice, where we believe these Terms have been breached or to protect the Service, its users, or third parties.
4. Your content and your responsibility
You retain ownership of the files you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Service — to store, process, transmit, and deliver Your Content to the recipients of the links you create, and to scan for security threats and prohibited material. We claim no other rights to Your Content.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and for every link you generate and distribute, including who you send links to, what they contain, and how recipients use them. You represent and warrant that you have all rights and permissions necessary to upload and share Your Content and that doing so does not violate any law or these Terms. Because recipients need no account, you are responsible for choosing appropriate expiry times and download caps and for keeping links confidential.
5. Security — shared responsibility
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the Service, described in our Privacy Policy and in our security guide — including encryption in transit and at rest, hashed share tokens, modern password hashing, rate limiting, and short-lived sessions. However:
- The Service is not end-to-end encrypted. If you require that no one but your recipient can ever read a file, encrypt it yourself before uploading (for example with age or 7-Zip AES).
- No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or immune to compromise.
- You are responsible for your own security practices: strong passwords, protecting your link tokens, and not sharing links through insecure channels.
6. Credits, payments, and refunds
- Paid features use prepaid credits purchased in one-time packs. Credits are not a subscription and do not renew automatically.
- Uploads and downloads are billed by file size to the file's owner. Recipients are never charged.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store full card numbers. Your purchase is also subject to Stripe's terms.
- Except where required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable. As an operational exception, credits reserved for an upload that does not complete are returned to your balance automatically.
- We may change prices or credit mechanics prospectively. Changes do not affect credits you have already purchased.
7. File retention and deletion
Every upload is assigned a retention period that you choose (1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days). When that period ends, the file and its links are deleted automatically by a scheduled process, and deletion is permanent. We do not keep backups of Your Content and have no obligation to recover deleted files. Keep your own copy of anything important.
8. Reporting abuse and takedowns
To report content or a link that violates these Terms, or to submit an intellectual-property or other legal complaint, contact [abuse@uploadtol.ink] with the link and a description of the issue. We will review valid reports and may remove content, disable links, and suspend accounts. We may also preserve information and cooperate with law enforcement where we are legally required or where we believe in good faith it is necessary.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, use the Service unlawfully or unsafely, or to protect the Service or others. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content responsibility, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and responsibility for misuse — survive.
10. Disclaimers — the Service is provided "as is"
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or that the Service will be secure, uninterrupted, or free of data loss. You use the Service at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PixelPleno LTDA and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any loss arising from unauthorised access to, alteration of, or deletion of Your Content, or from the conduct of any user or recipient.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PixelPleno LTDA and its personnel from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) Your Content or the links you share, (b) your use or misuse of the Service, (c) your violation of these Terms or any law, or (d) your infringement of any third-party right.
13. No responsibility for misuse
The Service is a neutral tool for transferring files. We are not responsible for how the Service is used by you or by anyone you share links with, for the content of files transferred through it, or for any consequence of misuse. Responsibility for any unlawful, harmful, infringing, or otherwise improper use of the Service rests entirely with the user who engages in or enables it. Nothing in these Terms makes us a publisher, author, or endorser of any user content.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes may be announced in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, except where mandatory local law gives you other rights.
